Anonymous asked: I need some help. My upper lip is darker than my lower lip so when I try to wear lipstick it looks all types of odd and whack lol. Is something I can do that'll maybe even the tone out when I wear lipstick? Thanks :)
Hey there! I think everyone has this problem to some degree, although for me personally it’s the other way around.
Basically the best thing I can suggest is dabbing a tiny bit of concealer on your top lip to help lighten it up, then filling both your upper and lower lip with lipliner before applying lipstick.
That should help to even it out, just don’t apply too much concealer because if you do it will crease and build up around the sides of your mouth and look really disgusting after a couple of hours.
Hope that helped! x
Anonymous asked: Hi, just wanted some advice in regards to Napoleon foundation. Have you had an experience with them? And would you recommend it? I'm looking into the camera finish foundation. Also what shades of lipstick would you recommend for a dark skinned person? And any particular brands? Thanks xoxox
Hi there, I’m really sorry but I’ve actually never had any experience with Napoleon foundations, or any of their products in general for that matter. However makeup alley is a great place to start if you’re looking for some advice and opinions on makeup products. Just type into google [product name] review makeupalley and it will come up :)
As for lipsticks for dark skin, deep berry colours, plums and deep reds and wines are most flattering. Bright fuschias can also look amazing if you’re going for a bold look.
I hope that helped! x
